Lloyd Neal Murphy II, known by family and friends as Bud, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the age of 56 after a long illness. He was born October 25, 1962 in Skowhegan, ME the son of Lloyd N. Sr., and Judith L. (Perry) Murphy. Bud graduated from Windham High School class of 1981. After graduation he attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho majoring in automobile repair. After college, he returned to Maine where he worked as a Certified General Motors Mechanic for many years. Later he trained and became a skilled mechanist working at Rich Tool and Die. Bud had many hobbies and interests which included R.C. cars, boats, helicopters, and drones. He was also a member of the Lion's Club in Kezar Falls. Bud enjoyed working on engines of all kinds and used his skills to help family and friends. He was a kind and giving person who was quick to come to the aid of those around him. Bud is survived by his parents, Lloyd Sr. and Judith Murphy of Windham, as well as his two brothers; Steven and his wife Ruth also of Windham, Jeffery and wife Julie of Harrison, along with three nieces and three nephews. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Mercy Hospital for the kind, loving care Bud and his family received while there. The family also wishes to express gratitude to the Windham Fire and Rescue for their support as well. Services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 12:00 P.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 755 River Road Windham, ME 04062.
