Lisa Rosebrook

Lisa Rosebrook, née Lisa Jewell, passed away peacefully surrounded by her close family after a long and courageous battle. She was born September 5, 1950, in Orange, New Jersey, to George and Joan (Lindquist) Jewell. The daughter of a Coast Guard captain, Lisa spent her early years moving with her family before settling in Southwest Harbor, Maine, where she met the love of her life, Gil Rosebrook.

Lisa graduated high school in 1968 and earned her degree in Physical Education from the University of Maine in Orono. She and Gil married in 1972 and moved to Windham in 1974, where they built 52 years of family, friendship, laughter, and adventure.

Lisa spent her career in medical reception at Westbrook Community Hospital and later Family Practice through Maine Medical Partners, where her warm smile and compassion made everyone feel welcome.

Lisa’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife to Gil, loving mother to Mark Rosebrook and Shannon Irene Salvaggio (Angelo), and devoted grandmother to Tyson, Christian, Skylar, Dominic, and Katerina. She loved being part of their lives and could often be found on the sidelines or courtside, cheering them on—especially Skylar and Dominic.

Lisa treasured her friendships, especially the Blah-Blahs and the group that started as the Crazy 8’s, grew into the Fine 9’s, and ultimately became the 10 Hens, along with her GNOs. She loved road trips, celebrations, laughter, and simply having fun with the people she loved.

A longtime member of the Windham Veterans Center, Lisa also served as a deacon at North Windham Union Church. She will be remembered for her strong spirit, loyalty, beautiful smile, love of adventure, and her belief that life was meant to be enjoyed with good people by your side.

She leaves behind her husband of 54 years, Gil; her children, Mark and Shannon (Angelo); her five grandchildren; her sister, Irene Daigle; the extended Daigle family; and many dear friends who will miss her deeply.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Gail Null, Gil’s sister, and Irene Daigle, Lisa’s sister, for caring for Lisa with tremendous love and devotion until the end.

Lisa’s smile, laughter, adventurous spirit, and love of family and friends will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Visiting hours will be held August 16 from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Dolby, Blais & Segee Funeral Home in Windham. A funeral service will be held August 17 at 11 am at North Windham Union Church.
