Taken at age 47, September 10th, 2021, but not forgotten. Born May 1st, 1974 in Rumford, Maine, Lisa went to Mountain Valley High School and graduated with excellent grades and went on to Johnson and Wales University to pursue her passion and also to get her Bachelor's degree. Later on, Lisa had a daughter, Karan N Reynolds. Lisa was a compassionate, loving spirit whos passion was caring for others. She always knew how to put a smile on anyone's face and if you were having a bad day she'd be there for you; maybe to take you shopping, go for a hike or simply just to talk. A quote from one of her posts, "It's easy to judge. It's more difficult to understand. Understanding requires compassion, patience, and a willingness to beleive that good hearts sometimes choose poor methods. Through judging, we separate. Through understanding, we grow." She was a very forgiving person who could show you how to let go of any grudges. Lisa was passionate about contributing to different charities. She ran a Breast Cancer 5K three years in a row in Portland, Maine. Another very generous activity she supported was donating blood at Biotmat USA Plasma Center in Lewiston, Maine. She always wanted to help others without expecting anything in return except kindness and love. Lisa had many things she enjoyed doing with friends and family. Going to the gym, picking berries and apples, yard sales and gardening. When Karan was younger one of their favorite things to do to stay healthy and get out energy all while having a great time was Zumba! After school Lisa would pick Karan up and meet one or a couple of her friends and go to a Zumba class. Wow, did they work up a sweat and have so much fun doing it! In loving memory of Lisa, please give back to the community by donating plasma, blood, run a 5K or share some words of kindness with another person in need. Lisa's memory will live on through her daughter Karan N. Reynolds, who will carry on her legacy. She will be missed but not forgotten.
