Linda G. Winship, 74, of Windham, went home to be with her Lord and Savior with her family surrounding her on June 13th. Linda was born on January 19th, 1951, in Littleton, NH, to the late Robert and Eleanor Young. She graduated from Gorham High School in 1969. After graduation, she attended beauty school and worked with Paul Cyr. In 1970, she married the love of her life, Ronald H. Winship, Sr. For just shy of 55 years, the couple shared a loving life on their farm. In 2000, they opened Windy Hill Farm and have been farming ever since. Linda was a mom to many. She was always busy and worked hard. Linda was a member of the Tree of Life Assembly of God Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother William. She is survived by her loving husband Ronald H. Winship, Sr., of Windham; her son Ronald H. Winship, Jr., of Windham; her daughter Rhonda L. (Winship) Fenderson and her husband Tom of Gorham; her sisters Joyce and Diane Young of Gorham, and Roberta Morrill of Windham; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind her beloved Shih Tzus,Charlie, Annie, and Suzy, and four grand dogs. The family wishes to thank Molly, R-5 of Maine Health, and Lisa from Southern Maine Hospice for the top care Mom received. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 20th, from 1-2 PM. The funeral will follow at 2 PM at the Tree of Life Church in Windham, with Pastor Joel McPherson officiating. A private burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd.
