Linda Jane Rose, 73, died Friday November 26, following a long illness, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born in Boston, MA, on November 27, 1947 a daughter of Everett and Dorothy (Herridge) Rose.
Linda grew up in Southern Maine attended Scarborough High School. Following school, she enjoyed careers as a DHS case worker, bookkeeper, claims processer with UNUM, and finally retired as a personal caretaker in 2017. She had passion for painting and also enjoyed gardening.
She was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Silke, Rebecca Wilson and her husband Jeff; son, E.J. Nye; brother, John Rose and his wife Geri; sister Lillian Rose Starrett and her husband Rick; and stepsister, Ellie Beaupre and her husband Jean; and many grandchildren and a great grandchild.
A graveside service will be held 10:00AM Thursday December 2, at Brooklawn Memorial Park 2002 Congress Street, Portland.
