Linda Sue (Haun) Cederlund, 74 of Freeport, died Sunday, August 4, 2024 after a long battle with Muscular Dystrophy. She was born in Red Lodge, Montana to Maree (Wertz) and David Haun on Feb.15,1950. She was educated near her home in Montana, and was a college graduate of Montana State University in Billings, Montana. Lin married Gregg Cederlund at her cousin's home in Billings, Montana July 16,1988. She worked for many years as a quality control person for LL Bean until MD forced an early retirement. Her pets were her children and she loved each one dearly. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing handcrafts, creating special gifts for friends and family. She was a Chicago Cubs fan. She loved the mountains of Montana where she grew up and teased Gregg about Maine not having any real mountains. She was a member of the Tuttle Road Community Church. She is survived by her loving husband and caregiver, Gregg Cederlund of Freeport, a brother Thomas Hasher of Sterling, Colorado, in-laws Howard Cederlund, Judi & Jim Main of Wiscasset and Mike Parker, a niece Connie Trent and husband Greg all of Anchorage, Alaska, a nephew Russ Parker and his wife Annie of Livingston, Montana, a nephew Chris Main of Wiscasset, great nieces Rhianna Brandon, Kaitlyn Main and great nephews, Hunter Parker, Garath Parker and Cameron Main. She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Judy Parker of Anchorage, Alaska and her nephew Casey Main of Wiscasset. A funeral service will be held at the church on 52 Tuttle Rd., Cumberland, ME.04021 on Sat., Sept. 7 at 1 pm. A private family burial will be at a later date.
