Westbrook, Leonard A. Doiron, 90, formerly of Westbrook, passed away Saturday, July 1, at Ledgewood Manor in Windham He was born in Westbrook, the son of Alfred and Leocad (Paulin) Doiron. He was a lifelong resident of Westbrook and worked at S.D. Warren Paper Co for over 44 years, retiring in 1988. Leonard served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the American Legion. Leonard was a wonderful, caring, loving father and grandfather. He was respected in the community and by his family. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh throughout his life. Leonard was a jack of all trades who could build anything and was always willing to give people a helping hand. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Agnes (Charles) Doiron, a daughter Joan Goff, and was the last surviving sibling. He is survived by his sons Leonard M. and wife Jean of Gorham, Bruce and wife Jill of Westbrook, Jeff and wife Wendy of Westbrook, and Matt of Gorham; daughters Diane Allen of Westbrook, and Paula Laidlaw of Vermont; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
