Portland   Lela "Fay" Ireland-84, formerly of Falmouth-  Our Mother passed away at MMC on October 29, 2016.  We are very heartbroken, but so happy that our Mom is now reunited with the love of her life, our father "Bill". She has patiently waited for 26 years to be with him in heaven. Fay was the rock of our family. She cherished and loved her children and grandchildren deeply.  All who knew our mother loved her and in return she was kind and loving to all.  Fay was born in Little Rock Arkansas on April 9, 1932 to Rollie and Mary Loman McClellan.  She met her soul mate Bill in November of 1950. They married on December 22, 1950. They raised 3 children and traveled in the Navy for 21 years.  She is predeceased by her husband Bill who passed away in 1990.  She is survived by her daughter Kathy, who was Mom's loving caregiver and best friend, as well as her son Leonard and his wife Brenda and their children Lewis, Elizabeth and Jeffrey, and William and Amanda. Her daughter Barbara Hoyt and her husband Rick and their sons Ricky and Matthew. She also had four great grandchildren. Bonus family Susan and her two children. We were all blessed to have our mother in our lives.   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the American Heart Association.
