WESTBROOK - Lawrence James Inman, 88, died Saturday April 27, 2024 at home surrounded by his family after a brief illness. Lawrence was born on Sept 30, 1935 in Bangor. He was raised by his mother Georgianna Boudreau, Mama May and Papa Tom Trenholm. Lawrence attended Bangor schools then joined the Air Force where he served three years in the Korean War. After leaving the service, Lawrence met the woman of his dreams Mary Louise Kennard in 1958. Lawrence and Louise were married at St. Mary's Church in Bangor on June 26, 1959. Lawrence and family moved to Portland where he drove truck followed by 29 years working as a foreman at Hannafords Warehouse. Lawrence loved bowling and playing baseball. Watching sports and westerns. He loved spending time with family most of all. Lawrence was predeceased by his brothers Richard and Arnold Inman. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Louise Inman of Westbrook; three daughters, Anna Inman of Westbrook; Cheryl Carver and husband, Tom of Westbrook; Judy Luce and husband, Bill of Westbrook. a sister, Donna Inman of Casco; sister-in-law, Patricia Inman of South Portland. Three grandsons; John Carver of Florida, Ryan Luce and wife, Maegan of New Gloucester; Corey Luce of Westbrook. Four great granddaughters; one great grandson; along with several nieces and nephews.
