Portland – Lawrence J. Francoeur, 92, formerly of Westbrook, passed away Saturday July 7, at St. Joseph Manor. He was born in Westbrook, the son of Joseph and Leda Gagnon Francoeur. He was raised, educated and lived most of his life in Westbrook. Lawrence served in the 103 Infantry of the National Guard. He was employed by the S. D. Warren Co. for over 39 years. He was pre deceased by a daughter Patricia, this year. He is survived by daughters Jeannine and husband Steven Knudsen of Lexington, S.C.,  Rita Clark Richards of South Portland, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church Brown St. Westbrook.
