Laughlin H. Macdonald of Raymond, Maine (formerly of Sharon and Westwood, Massachusetts) passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at the age of 73. He was born in Quincy, Massachusetts, son of his late parents, Laughlin C. F. Macdonald and Irene M. (Stickney) Macdonald. Locke will be remembered by his love of family and was happiest when surrounded by them. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Cassandra Macdonald, and their children Amy C. White and her husband James of Mansfield, Massachusetts and Bradford C. Macdonald and his wife Chemaine of Manassas, Virginia. His most precious gift was his grandchildren, James Neal White III (12), Gavin Laughlin White (12) and Layla Ruth Macdonald (7) who knew him as Banky. He is also survived by three sisters Betsy, Kate and Susan Macdonald and three brothers, the late Thomas Macdonald and his surviving wife Paula, the late Kevin Macdonald and his surviving wife Miriam, and Crandon Macdonald as well as many nieces and nephews. Locke was a Patriots season ticket holder since 1977. He spent most of his adult life in the sales profession within the medical industry, retiring from Meditech in 2016 after 25+ years. Locke enjoyed summers with his family on Crescent Lake in Raymond, Maine, his favorite place to be. Upon retirement Locke and Cassandra moved full time to Crescent Lake in Raymond, Maine. While retired he gave back to his local community, serving on the board of the Crescent Lake Watershed Association and the Raymond Waterways Protective Association. Locke's family and friends enjoyed his generosity, humor, and fun loving nature. He was loved by many and will be missed. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at the Dolby, Blais & Segee – Windham Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham, ME 04062.
