Lary Penney Jr. September 10th 1980 - February 6th 2023 Lary Penney, 42, unexpectedly passed away at home in Standish, Maine on February 6th 2023. Lary was born in Portland, Maine on September 10th 1980, the son of LouAnn (Whitlock) Penney and Larry Penney. He spent his childhood years in Windham playing baseball and wrestling. Lary attended Windham schools and later graduated from Windham High School. He met his ex-fiancée Monica Sprinkle and they spent 23 years together. They built a home together in 2010 in Windham and share a daughter, Hailey Penney. His love of sports carried into adulthood as he enjoyed watching football, playing softball, and cheering on his daughter, nieces, and nephews during sports games. He was a very hard worker, he spent 16 years working for Wireless Construction and valued his career. He enjoyed fishing, shooting, spending quality time with his friends, and most importantly, dancing. Lary was known as somebody who would do anything to put a smile on your face. He had a love for vacationing in Florida with family and friends to relax or watch nascar racing. Lary is survived by his mother LouAnn "Whitlock" Penney; daughter, Hailey Penney, three sisters, April Penney of Westbrook, Crystal Briggs of Windham, and Stacey Sprinkle of Washington state; brother, Walter Penney of Windham; many nieces, nephews, and additional family that he cherished. Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2023 from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Funeral home. A memorial service will be held, Friday, February 24, 2023, 12:00 pm at Dolby, Blais, Segee-Windham Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham ME 04082.
