Portland- Krista Rickett Palmer, passed away February 16, 2022, after a long battle with addiction. Krista was born 04/24/1973 in Portland, ME, the youngest of two children to Elizabeth A Lawrence and Robert N Batchelor. She graduated from Portland High School and obtained an associates degree in accounting from Andover College. Krista was a waitress for many years and loved her regular customers. She also loved traveling, BINGO, and card games. She is predeceased by her maternal Grandparents, Vernon R King and Theresa C King of Westbrook, Me. Her paternal Grandparents, John, and Mae Batchelor, also of Westbrook. Aunt, June King Wilbur, and former husband, Theodore Lipps. Krista is survived by her husband Richard Palmer of Portland, ME. Parents, Elizabeth A Lawrence of Gorham, Me. Robert N Batchelor of Dover Foxcroft, ME. Children, Arthur Rickett Jr. and Kyra Lynn Rickett of Portland, ME, Sister, Terri Batchelor Bellovia from Coweta, OK ; Many Aunts, Uncles. Close cousins Jennifer Elliott of Largo, FL and Rebecca King of Westbrook, ME. A private graveside service will take place in the Spring.
