Koreen Ann (Chandler) Young of Windham Maine, born July 22, 1943, passed away March 8, 2023 surrounded by her children. Koreen was the daughter of Alvin and Grace Chandler of Windham Maine. She grew up in Windham and graduated from Windham High School. She was also a member of the Windham Rainbow Chapter. After High School she worked in the administration field. Koreen and Forest E Young Jr were married in 1964. She became a wonderful stay at home mom and homemaker. As her kids grew older, she joined the workforce again as a bees wax candle maker and then a photo lab technician. She then retired to be a full time Grandmother and watch her grandkids. Koreen will be remembered for her "Mainer" stubbornness, and always trying to feed you when you visited. She loved the outdoors and gardening, you always had to have a tour of her latest flowers blooming and had to see her newest solar lights that lit her whole back yard at night. Koreen is predeceased by her father and mother Alvin and Grace Chandler, her sister Sandra, and her husband Forest E Young Jr. She is survived by her three children, F. Eldren Young III and his wife Amy, daughter Kendra Kimball and husband Scott, son David Young and wife Dianne. Grandchildren: Wyatt, Kourtney, Aaron, Brandi with husband Mathew, and one great grandchild Zoey.
