Gorham,ME Kimmerly Maxfield-Fearon 58 On Thursday, March 29, 2018, Kimmerly Elizabeth Maxfield-Fearon, wife, mother, daughter, and sister, passed away suddenly after a brief illness at the age of 58. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her, but especially by Lawrence Maxfield-Fearon, her husband of twenty-two years, their children, Theanna (Chris) Nelson, Jesse Fearon, Ariel (Shawn) Stricker, and Katie (Shawn) Fearon, her sister Holly Brown, her stepmother Gloria Maxfield, and her stepsiblings Donna (Dave) Haslop, Bob (Jeanette) Thibodeau, and Kellie (Peter) Senghas. She is also loved and remembered by her four grandchildren Gavin, Blake, Booker, and Rory, ten nieces and nephews, and four great nieces and nephews, as well as her many friends. She was predeceased by her mother Edith, father James, and sister Vicki. Kim was born on April 30, 1959, to James and Edith Maxfield, raised in Portland, and went to Portland schools. After graduating, she began working for the Portland Police Department. She spent most of her professional life working as a secretary for the Portland, Gorham, and Falmouth Police Departments. It was in Gorham that she met Lawrence, and the two were married on June 17th, 1995, uniting their two families into one family of six. Kim was a loving and active person who enjoyed taking care of all of the people in her life. She liked to plan and host large family gatherings and made every holiday a joy for the people she loved. She was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed the fiber arts, gifting many of the people she loved with her talents. She also had a lively sense of humor and adventure and shared that energy and fun with everyone around her. A service will be held in her memory at Gorham High School at 11:00am on Saturday April 7, 2018 with Rev. Tim Higgins officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
