Obituary

WINDHAM – Kenneth S. Parker, Sr., 73, of River Road, died March 24, 2016 at home after a short illness. He was born in Windham on October 18, 1942, the son of Robert M. and Effie M. (Dolloff) Parker, Sr. Kenny was raised and educated in Windham. Kenny was employed by Knight & Gale Oil, Wright Oil and Liberty Oil as an oil burner technician. He was a member of the South Windham Fire Department and the Windham-Gorham Rod and Gun Club. An avid hunter and fisherman, he also enjoyed boating, camping, gardening, and woodworking. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by three sisters, Edna M. Parker Richards, Shirley Tripp and Thelma Myrick and two brothers, Robert Parker, Jr. and Charlie Parker. Surviving are his significant other, Carol Rogers of Windham; two sons, Richard A. Parker of Biddeford and Kenneth S. Parker, Jr. of Standish; step-children, Albert Rogers, Jr. of Windham, Carla LaRoche of Windham, Craig Rogers of Barrington, NH and Lance Rogers of Windham; a brother, Donald Parker of Windham; also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham. There will be no visiting hours.
