Kenneth R. Hawkes Sr., 69, of Saco St., Westbrook, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 13, 2014. He was born in Portland, the son of Bradford and Ethel (Buxton) Hawkes.  Kenneth worked as a crane operator for Cianbro for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Maine Antique Tractor Association, the Falmouth Rod and Gun Club, and a lifetime member of the ATA (Amateur Trap Association.  Over the last few years Kenneth has enjoyed motorcycling. He is survived by his wife Carol (Hanscom) Hawkes; his sons Bradford and Kenneth Jr., both of Westbrook; and three brothers, Charles of Fayette, Russell of Raymond, Eugene of Naples; and his brother-in-law Edward and his wife Nancy Gallant of Buxton.
