Kenneth Roland Davis, 87, of Westbrook died peacefully Friday August 12, 2022 with his beloved wife Donna by his side. He was born in Westbrook Maine April 2,1935 to Kenneth & Gladys Davis. Ken graduated from Westbrook high school in 1954. Ken was a member of the Maine Army National Guard. He married Ann Ruth Burton in 1956. Ken went to work at Saunders Brothers Mill in Westbrook at the age of 15. He retired from there after 47 years of service in 1997. He was also a volunteer fireman for Westbrook engine 3 Prides Corner for 15 years. After retirement he went to work at Gorham house, working in the transportation department for 17 years. Ken & Ann built a camp on Little Sebago in the early seventies, Ken's little slice of heaven. He also enjoyed many hobbies; boating, snowmobiling, motorcycle riding and hunting. Ken was a hard worker, spending many hours in the woods on his tractor cutting firewood for winter. Ken was a family man and loved each one of his children, grandchildren & great grandchildren with all his heart. Ken was predeceased by his parents, first wife Ann, son Jeffery and sister Beverly Jane Grant. He is survived by his wife Donna, daughter Wendy Marie & husband Brian Nelson, step-sons Brandon & Ryan Lund, grandson/son, Gabe Guimond, grandchildren; Jessica Rich, Ben Davis, Ashton Nelson, Morgan Miller, Taylor Hamilton, Amos Davis & 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 10AM-11AM with a service starting at 11AM at Dolby, Blais & Segee Funeral Home, 35 Church St. in Westbrook. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook. The family would like to thank the Gorham House Oxford staff & Beacon Hospice for your exceptional care.
