Keith Gaudet Sr. 69, of Saco St. Westbrook, went home to be with his lord on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Maine Medical Center. He was born in Rumford, ME, the son of Terrance and Henrietta (Conrad) Gaudet. He was raised in So. Portland where he was a communicant of Holy Cross Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister and a Sunday School teacher. Keith and his wife Nancy also served as a Presentation Couple for World Wide Marriage Encounter of Maine. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Keith was a tinkerer and loved to fix anything. He worked as a heating & plumbing technician, appliance repairman, and a welder. He also volunteered for the State Guards, the South Portland Police Reserves, and did customer service at a call center. Keith loved camping, fishing, and going on road trips. There was nothing more important to Keith then family, and he loved family gatherings. He was predeceased by his mother and father, and a brother Russell Terrance Gaudet. He is survived by his wife Nancy (Goan) Gaudet of Westbrook; four sons, Keith Jr. and wife Sarah Gaudet, Terrance J. Gaudet, and Ryan D. Gaudet, all of South Portland, and Nicholas P. Gaudet of Portland; his daughter Janelle M. Gaudet of Portland;14 grandchildren; a great grandchild; three brothers, Gary and wife Evie Gaudet of Westbrook, John and wife Betty Gaudet of Westbrook, and David and wife Mona Gaudet of South Portland; also aunts,uncles, cousins, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial mass to celebrate Keith's life will be held at 10 AM Tuesday at St. Anthony's Parish Church in Westbrook, followed by a reception in the church hall.
