Portland / Yarmouth - Kathryn Buckley York (67) died on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Brentwood Center in Yarmouth, Maine, after an extended illness. She had a smile that drew one into her grateful heart. She was a keeper of lifelong stories that she shared. She understood loss and always had a listening ear. She was a very proud mother and grandmother to her son, Tyler, and his children, Sawyer and Brooklyn, whom she loved dearly, as they were always in her thoughts and heart. She was a wife, a sister, a niece, a cousin, a daughter, and a friend to many. She was caring. She was empathic. She was an intellectual. She was loved. She will be missed but forever remembered and kept deeply in our hearts.  A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
