Obituary

Kathleen "Kathy" Hilton Harvey, 83, passed away peacefully, on January 21, 2018, at the Treasure Coast Hospice in Ft. Pierce, Florida, following a short illness. She was surrounded by her family. Kathy was born September 30, 1934 in Montpelier, Vermont, the third of six children, to Keith E. Hilton and Kathleen (Sargeant) Hilton. Kathy and Maurice raised their family in South Portland, Maine and later lived between Sebago Lake and Southern Florida. Her employment years began at the telephone company and she retired from the Air Force recruiting office, with Kathy keeping lifelong friends from both. Kathy enjoyed golfing in both Maine and Florida. In her retirement years, she ran the Maine Sr. Women's Golf League, combining her love of golf with her incredible organizational skills. She loved playing any card game, organizing numerous bridge leagues, knitting for charities, traveling, and hosting family parties. Her home was always open to the company of friends and family. Kathy will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Keith "Eddie" Hilton, William "Bill" Hilton, and her sister Beverly (Hilton) Green. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Maurice; her sisters E. Francis Hilton and Jesse Belle (Hilton) Luttrell ; her sister-in-law Donna Hilton; her brother-in-law Paul Luttrell; her son Michael Harvey and his wife Maureen (Raftice) Harvey; her daughters Teresa (Harvey) Murray and her husband James, and Diane (Harvey) Collins and her fiancée Rod Hanson. She is also survived by 8 adored grandchildren and spouses; Michael and Jessica Harvey, Janell (Harvey) and Alex Canaan, Ryan Murray, Erin Murray, Kelly Murray, Jennifer (Collins) and Frank Cavaliere, Christina (Collins) and Nick Bean and Sarah Collins. And 3 great-grandchildren Andrew, Annie and Parker. A visitation will be on held from 9-10:30 am on Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais, & Segee, 35 Church St., Westbrook. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11am the same day at St. Anthony of Padua, 268 Brown St., Westbrook, burial will follow at St. Hyacinth's Cemetery, Stroudwater St., Westbrook. www.DolbyBlaisSegee.com Please consider donating to the American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W.
