Katherine "Kitty" Stevenson (Maxwell) Katherine "Kitty" Stevenson, 81, of Westbrook, ME, passed away on October 2, 2023. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Kitty dedicated her life as a homemaker, creating a warm and loving environment for her family. She took great pride in finding fulfillment in the care and nurturing of her loved ones. The family was the center of her world and she treasured moments spent together during apple picking excursions, joyful Christmas celebrations and big spaghetti dinners. Kitty's genuine and compassionate spirit, infectious laughter, and good-natured humor, she brought joy to those around her. She found solace and beauty in the changing seasons, particularly in the vibrant hues of autumn. She embraced the simple pleasures of life, a close family and the experiences shared together. Kitty Stevenson's presence will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family will continue to inspire and resonate with those who were fortunate to know her. May she rest in eternal peace. Kitty is survived by her devoted husband, Henry Stevenson Sr., and their children, Linda, Michael, Holley, Henry Jr., Shirley, Karen, Eric, Daniel, and Heather. She also leaves behind the legacy of grandchildren including, Nikkole, Amanda, Sydney, Kayla, Benjamin, Madison, Heather, Yuriy, Dwane, Nicole, Katherine, Ryan, Rebecca, Joshua, Adam, Gwen, Emily, Anthoney, Sara, Hunter, Brea, James, Abby, Micah and Jonah, and great-grandchildren including, Caleb, Noah, Logan, Charlotte, Oliver, Nikolai, Ava, Brenna, Carleigh, Dwane, Elliot, Lilly, Davis, and Cayleigh. She is survived by her siblings Diane, Ralph Jr., Jean, and Ron who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, October 9th, from 5 to 7 PM at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee 35 Church St. Westbrook. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 10th, at 10:00 am at St. Hyacinth Church 268 Brown Street, Westbrook. Burial will follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park 2002 Congress St. Portland.
