JULIE LILLIAN NICOLANTONIO -WESTBROOK Julie Nicolantonio 64 died at home on Feb 1, 2024 surrounded by family & friends She was born Feb 18, 1959, In Portland Me to Bertrand & Bertha Swallow. Julie attended Portland schools then went on to be a homemaker. On Aug 28, 1998, Julie married Wayne Nicolantonio of Westbrook Me where she became head of household to raise her sons & animals. She was a lifelong BINGO fan and babysitter of 4 grandchildren as well as other friend's kids. She had a special LOVE of animals she once had a "pet" squirrel she would let into her home to feed. IF she saw an injured bird she would try it nurse it back to health. She had a special affection for elephants but never owned one. Julie is predeceased by her parents, sister Babara Swallow, and brother Ronald "Buckshot" Swallow. Surviving in addition to her husband Wayne are sons Kurt Ehlers of Freeport ME, Joshua Ehlers of Westbrook Me, and Michael Montgomery & wife Melissa of Naples Me. Grandchildren Cody & Hailey Montgomery, Isaak Ehlers and Ava Ehlers. Siblings Larry Dunbar, of Windham Me, Bonnie Crocket of Portland Me. Brenda Pappalardo of South Portland, George Swallow OF Lubec Me, Michaël Swallow of Cumberland ME, Shirley Cox of Westbrook ME, and Diane Murray of Westbrook Me along with many nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the staff at Southern Maine Hospice for their loving support and care provided for Julie. Funeral services will be held at Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee 35 Church St. Westbrook on Monday Feb 5, 2024, at 2PM.
