Judy Elaine Maddocks, 64, passed away after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis on November 15, 2017. The daughter of Francis and Madeline (Allen) Cox, she was born in Portland on August 24, 1953. She grew up in Portland and graduated from Portland High School. She was an avid gardener and loved her flowers and birds, especially woodpeckers. She worked for many years at G.E. Sylvania. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Shawn. One trip that was very special for the two of them was when they visited Paris France. She was predeceased by a sister Patricia Cox. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Shawn Maddocks of Steep Falls, her daughter Angela Napolitano of Mooresville N.C., her brothers Brian Cox, and his wife Cindy, of Portland, Larry Cox of Portland, and Philip Cox and his wife Donna, of Portland, her sisters Rita Stain, of Portland and Carolyn Waters and her husband Ron of Windham, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed by her "love bug Shih Tzu", Laci. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Dolby, Blais & Segee Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Steep Falls Cemetery.
