Judith Ann "Judy" Stafford, 76, died Friday December 9, 2016. She was born August 26, 1940, in Maynard, MA, a daughter of Herman and Nellie (Kezer) Tower. Judy grew up in Maynard and graduated from local schools. Through her husband's military service, she lived in various states and retired to Dexter, Maine. She had a passion for cooking, baking and sewing. Judy enjoyed the RV lifestyle and her retirement home in Florida. The last few years she resided in Gorham near her daughters with her dog, Budha, whom she adored. In addition to her parents Judy was predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years Kenneth Stafford; son, Ken Stafford; sister, Shirley Johnson; and brothers, Lawrence Tower and Donald Tower. She is survived by her daughters, Beth Myrick and her husband Jeff of Standish, Patty Laferriere and her husband Rob of Gorham, and Amy Stafford of Portland; sister Alda Terry of Freemont, CA; and brother Ted Tower of Stow, MA; and grandchildren, Kalen Hus and Evan Stafford, and William and James Myrick. A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Saturday December 17, at the Gorham Chapel of Dolby Funeral Chapels, 76 State Street, Gorham. Friends are welcome to call from 1:00 – 2:00PM the day of service. Burial will be held in the spring at Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley.
