Portland – Judith E. Arsenault, 66, of Ridgewood Rd. Gorham, passed away Sept. 27, at the Barron Center. She was born in Portland, the daughter of Glen Robert and Mae Rose Hodgkin Jones. Judith worked as a hostess at Vallee's Steak House in Portland for many years, she also owned and operated a Day Care for 17 years. She was a member of the Eagles, Beta Sigma Phi, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, she worked for the Town of Gorham in voter registration, she was a Bluebird co-leader and a dance mother. Judith loved children, cooking, reading, the theater and traveling. She was pre deceased by her beloved husband John J. Arsenault Jr., She is survived by her mother Mae Rose Harriman of Gorham, son Anthony Arsenault of Windham, 2 daughters Cindy Adams of Gorham and Eleanor Calmes of Pittston, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, 2 brothers Anthony Ferrante of Westbrook and Kenneth W. Jones of Parsonsfield. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 12:00 p.m. noon, at the Cressey Rd. United Methodist Church, Gorham. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Westbrook.
