Joyce Rosalie Reynolds, 60 years old, passed away at her home surrounded by family and friends in Sebago on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Joyce was born January 29, 1953 in Portland to proud parents, the late Ada and Lawrence Elward. She is survived by her life companion Muriel Gentley, sister Pauline Marchant, daughter Lindsey and her husband Vincent Loscalzo, as well as Spring and Jeff Grover, Sara Gentley, Jonathan and Dawn Gentley, and Ariel Gibbs Devereaux. Known lovingly as Nana by Ryan, Lyesha, Taylor, O'Brian, Connor, Natalie, and Brayden. She was predeceased by siblings Theresa Fortin and Harry Raymond. Joyce spent her life in various parts of southern Maine but for the majority resided in Westbrook. Her working life was spent at the "shoe shop", Sebago Moc where she was employed for 24 years. Her hobbies included spending time with friends and family at the infamous Coffee Club meetings. Her legendary wins at her much-loved cribbage tournaments at the family reunions will not be matched. Perhaps most will remember her for her big blue eyes and her sassy dancing. Services for Joyce will be held Saturday, June 1 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Blais and Hay Funeral Home located at 35 Church St in Westbrook. Burial to follow at St. Hyacinth Cemetery, 296 Stroudwater Street in Westbrook. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help cover end of life costs. Any contributions can be sent directly to Blais and Hay Funeral Home.
