Westbrook – Joshua Ryan Greenwood, 33, died on June 6, 2016. He was born in Portland, on June 16, 1982, the son of William and Patricia (O'Brien) Greenwood. Joshua grew up in Westbrook, and attended local schools. He then began his career as a builder, doing almost any job, but he was most passionate about carpentry. Joshua had a strong work ethic, that he learned from his grandfather, and had hoped to pass it on to his own children. Family was Joshua's first priority, and spending time with his mother and children was what he lived for. He enjoyed watching his son's baseball games, hiking with his brother, and spending time with the whole family at their camp in Gray. Joshua is survived by his mother, Patricia "Patti" Greenwood; significant other, Kayla Burnham; sons, Noah, Carter, and Canen Greenwood; maternal grandparents, Anson and Brenda O'Brien; paternal grandfather, Linwood Stubbs; brother, William "Billy" Greenwood and wife Jen; sisters, Billi Jo and Amanda; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his father, Joshua is predeceased by his daughter, Brooklyn "Brookie" Greenwood in 2010; and paternal grandmother, Mildred Stubbs. A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Monday, June 13, 2016, at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Rd., Windham. A period of visitation will be held from 4pm until the time of the service. A celebration of life will be held at 12 noon, on June 24, 2016, at the Portland Eagles Club, 184 St. John's St., Portland. Burial will be at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Westbrook.
