Westbrook – Joseph M. Sandora, Sr. of Westbrook 78 years old went home to be with the Lord on April 30th 2012.  By the grace of God, he passed quietly in the night, unexpectedly of a broken heart. His wife Sylvia of 53 years had just recently passed after a long illness. And just three short years ago he lost his loving daughter Belinda. He was born on December 2nd 1933 of his parents Michael and Mary Sandora. Joe's greatest passion was art, his art. He started creating master pieces as a young boy and continued on until his last day here. After receiving a business degree from Northeastern Business School, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Maine. Every brush stroke of his art will be admired and cherished for generations to come.  He also loved movies and being a home body, with his family. His best friends were his wife, his children and his grandchildren. He adored each and every one of them every day of their lives. He was a hard worker, sometimes having several jobs at a time to make ends meet. He never complained, while always taking comforting care of his family. He was an amazing gift to all. He was kind, gentle, soft spoken, giving and the best husband, father, and grandpa anyone could ever ask for. Joe is pre-deceased by this mother and father and his siblings, Sunday, Frank, Angie, Ray and Micheleana.  Also, his beloved wife Sylvia of 53 years and his beautiful daughter Belinda.  He is survived by his 92 year old sister Anne Webber, his three sons, Gregory, Joseph Jr, and John and their wives Kathy, Gina and Jolie, six grandchildren Jennifer, Casie, Cannon, Kaylee, Kiana and Jessie.
