Joseph L. (Coco) Delcourt of Stroudwater St. Westbrook, passed away peacefully at his home, Wednesday April, 16. Joseph was born on June 11, 1936 in Portland the son of Oscar and Rose Delcourt. Joseph was raised and educated in Gorham. He served in the U.S Army. He had been employed for 10 years by the city of Westbrook, and was employed for over 34 years by the S.D Warren Company, retiring in 1994. Joseph loved helping people, he would be more then glad to help anyone who needed a hand. Joseph was a long time resident of Westbrook, and was a lifelong member of the Eagles, and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Kathleen Martin Delcourt, 3 children, son Mark and wife Becky Delcourt of Windham, daughters Doreen Delcourt of Westbrook, and Lisa Delcourt of Saco, 6 grandchildren, Travis, Marie, Kayla, Emmanuel, Melanie, and Mitchell. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday April, 21 from 4 to 7 PM at the Blais and Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church Street, Westbrook.
