NAPLES—Joseph Cabral, 56, of Naples, formerly of Chelmsford, MA, died on January 17, 2017. He was born February 22, 1960, the youngest son of Arthur and Helen (O'Donnell) Cabral Sr.. Joe grew up in Massachusetts, and graduated from Andover High School in the class of 1978. He spent most of his life in Chelmsford, Massachusetts working for Hewlett-Packard (later sold to Phillips) and retired after over 25 years of employment. Joe was a family man who enjoyed watching his nieces and nephew grow up, always their favorite babysitter. He adored his parents and personally cared for his mother at his home after his father's passing. In 2010, Joe moved to Maine, making the family property on Long Lake in Naples his permanent home. Joe was currently employed at Reny's in Windham. He loved spending time at his home on the lake where he enjoyed fishing, evening swims in the summer, snowmobiling in the winter, and watching the sunset on the lake. He was an avid Three Stooges fan, and was always cracking jokes, laughing his infectious laugh, and teasing his nieces and nephew. Joe is survived by his brothers, Arthur Cabral Jr. and his wife, Judy, and Thomas Cabral and his wife, Peg; nieces, Sharon, Terry-Ann, her husband, Matt, and Stephanie; and his beloved nephew, Jonathan; great nieces, Meaghan, Abby, Kate and Charlize; and special friends Jimmy Richardson and Greg Messenger. He was predeceased by his parents, and a brother, Robert Cabral. A celebration of life will be held later in the summer, a date and time to be announced.
