On April 25, 2021 Jon Christopher Lundberg passed away suddenly from natural causes at his home in Windham, Maine. Jon was born on December 4, 1972 at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut to Jon L and Millie (Johnson) Lundberg of Madison, Connecticut. Jon was a 1991 graduate of Daniel Hand High School in Madison, Connecticut where he played goalie on the lacrosse team. He attended Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton, Maine and completed their course of study in May of 1992. While there he competed on Bridgton's traveling lacrosse team. In 1996 Jon graduated from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland where he played goalie on the Shoremen College Lacrosse Team all four years. Jon excelled in lacrosse and continued to play on teams in the Portland area. Jon followed all competitive sports and was a huge Jets and Red Sox fan. His other talents centered around his love of cooking and he was good at it! The TV was sure to be tuned to either a sports program or cooking show. While in college Jon returned to Orange, Connecticut in the summers to work for Fox Steel as an ironworker. After graduation Jon moved to Maine where he was employed first by Bridgton Academy as a history teacher and lacrosse coach. He then was a salesman for AIG and Robert Half Insurance Companies and Atlantic Sportswear. His last employment was in Corporate Strategic Accounts at IDEXX Laboratories. On July 4, 2004 he married Gretchen Ulman of Fort Fairfield, Maine and together they were raising two daughters. He is survived by Gretchen, Lily Anna and Hazel Belle of Windham and his parents of Madison, Connecticut. Jon was loved by many and will be missed so very much. Often when time spent with Jon was over, his parting comment was "Make it a great day". His family hopes that you do. A celebration of Jon's life will be held at a later date.
