PORTLAND - John Joseph Levesque, Sr., passed away on October 20, 2022 at MMC. He was born on September 20, 1947 in Portland to the late Luc L. and Jane M. (Leighton) Levesque. John graduated from Westbrook High School, Class of 1967. After graduation, John worked at S.D. Warren. Throughout his life, John also worked in construction and insulation, but his favorite job was driving tractor trailer. John is survived by siblings, Norma Boulanger, Larry Levesque, and Nola Scott; his eleven children, Kimberly, John, Thomas, Daniel, Marie, James, Elisabeth, Juliette, Rebecca, Emma, and Katherine; his ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held, 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 755 River Road, a reception will immediately follow.
