WESTBROOK- John Arthur Hall, 75, passed away June 23, 2022. He was born October 19, 1946, in Portland, Maine, the son of Arthur and Mary (Adir) Hall. John graduated from Portland High School in 1964 and enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Panama and Charleston, South Carolina. After his honorable service to our nation, he continued to serve as a police officer with the Westbrook Police Department for over 20 years, retiring in 1999. As a Westbrook resident, he was an active member of the community participating and volunteering for things such as the Westbrook Music Department and Boy Scouts. He enjoyed an occasional round of golf and traveling to see his children and grandchildren. He married his wife Mary Hall in 1971 and together raised their two children, Stephen and Peter, as well as two of his grandchildren Christopher and Chiara. John is predeceased by his wife, Mary and his brother Norman. He is survived by his loving two sons; Stephen Hall, and his wife, Sezen, and Peter Hall, and his wife, Amie. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Chris, Chiara, Mila, and Thomas, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visiting Hours for John will be held on Saturday, July 2 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 35 Church St. Westbrook followed by a procession to Brooklawn Memorial Park for a graveside service starting at 11:00am.
