Westbrook, John "Jack" Burke Cabral, 69, of Westbrook, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough. John was born and raised in Westbrook, the son of Edward "Cisco" and Kathleen (Burke) Cabral. He worked as an electrician for many years. He also enjoyed being a D.J. and doing karaoke for a variety of events including weddings. John served in the National Guard and was a member of the American Legion Post #197. He also served as a past president of the Westbrook Eagles. He had a passion for riding his motorcycle. John had a wonderful sense of humor and was adored by his grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Robert Cabral. He is survived by his wife Karen (Mulkern) Cabral of Westbrook; sons John Lapointe of Old Orchard, Sean Cabral and his companion Bonnie of Buxton; daughters Erica Cabral and companion Ralph of Limington, Mandy Caruso and husband Ryan of Westbrook; his brother Edward Cabral and wife Linda of Westbrook; sister Cathy Freeman of Portland; grandchildren Dustin, Kyel, Macey, Dale, Erica, and Colleen; several great grandchildren,  nieces, and nephews.
