Joanne Bertha (Brochu) Fecteau, 71, of Dunnellon FL, formerly of Steep Falls ME, died Thursday June 27, peacefully after a long illness. She was raised in South Windham the daughter of Florence and Henry Brochu. She lived most of her life in Steep Falls with her family.   Former co-owner of Fecteau Novelties, Joanne was a card player, avid gardener and camper.  She devoted many hours to knitting and crafting for the local hospitals and homeless shelter.  Joanne was devoted to her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Norman Fecteau.  She is survived by the second love of her life Normand Plouffe of Dunnellon FL, two daughters Kathrine and husband Chester Brooks of Standish ME and Dianne and husband Steve Day of West Gardiner ME, and six grandaughters, Casey, Brittany and Morgan Brooks and Jennifer, Elizabeth and Allyson Day, and her brother Robert Brochu of Kirksville, MO. Visitation will be held Friday July 5, at the Blais & Hay Funeral Home 35 Church St. Westbrook, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and July 6, from 8:00 to 8:30 before the start of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Matthews Church, 19 Dora Lane, Limerick, ME.
