Joan D. Goff, 66, of Webster Ave., Westbrook, passed away Monday, Aug. 31, at the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born in Portland, the daughter of Leonard A. and Agnes (Charles) Doiron.  Joan had a  career as a dietetic technician for several years.She was former member of the Westbrook Eagles. Joan was an active member of The Rock Church in Scarborough where she gave generously of her time, and was involved with a women's group. She cared genuinely for people and found great joy in helping people in need, including volunteering at the Portland Soup Kitchen. She also had a love of nature, animals, and especially gardening. She enjoyed finding unique items and antiques wherever she could. Joan's greatest joy was entertaining her family and attending her grandchildren's sporting events.  She was predeceased by her mother Agnes Doiron. She is survived by her father Leonard A. Doiron of Westbrook, her husband Robert Goff of Westbrook; her daughters Lisa Caristinos of South Portland and her companion Mark Reuscher, and Paula Gowen and her husband Sean of Westbrook; her brothers Leonard M. Doiron and wife Jean, Bruce Doiron and wife Jill, Jeffrey Doiron and wife Wendy, and Matthew Doiron; her sisters Diane Allen and Paula Laidlaw; and her grandchildren Michael and Sara Gowen and Nikoloas Caristinos,and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook. A Celebration of her life will take place Friday at 10 AM at The Rock Church in Scarborough.
