Jetta Watts-Smith, 81, of Westbrook, passed away Sunday, July 01, 2012 at the Barron Center. She was born in Lubec Maine, the daughter of Walter and Mildred (Lovatt) Small. She was raised on Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick Canada.  After graduating from Grand Manan School, Jetta moved to Portland ME to attend nursing school at Maine General, graduating in 1952. She worked as a private duty nurse, and eventually moved on to be Head Nurse of OB/GYN at Maine General Hospital. Jetta then worked many years for Dr. Harry Bennert. Jetta loved roller skating, which is where she met her first husband, Edward Watts. Together they had one son Jeffrey Watts of Westbrook. Jetta also loved to bowl and playing Bingo. She met her second husband Reginald Smith at Bingo. They enjoyed camping at Wassamki Springs campground on lot D9. Jetta and her husband started Four Seasons Bingo on Elmwood Ave in Westbrook. Jetta was predeceased by her brother, Spencer Small and her granddaughter, Amanda Jean Watts. Jetta is survived by a son Jeff Watts and his wife Denise of Westbrook. Grandsons Dana and Austin Watts both of Westbrook. Granddaughter Rebecca Watts of Buxton. Identical twin sister Mary McAlister of Westbrook. Brother Burton Small and his wife Rowena of Grand Manan Island NB. A visiting hour will be held from 11 to 12 Friday July 6 with a funeral service directly following at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook. Interment will be in Brooklawn Memorial Park.   The family would like to thank the Baron Center Staff for taking such great care of Jetta during her time there.
