Jerrill N. West Jr., 58, of Sanford, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford. He was born on October 9, 1963 son of Jerrill N. West Sr. and Patricia I. (Wills) West. Jerrill (Jay) was a Journeyman Pipefitter and Draftsman. He worked this trade in Arizona, Wisconsin, and locally for Commercial Welding and Cianbro. Through the years, Jay enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing darts, swimming and camping. His passion and hobby was woodworking; building many items like cabinets, cutting boards, and numerous other projects. Jay is survived by his father Jerrill N. West, Sr. and step-mother Sharon West, wife Dorothy West, son Andrew West, sister, Cheryll-Ann Andrews and brother-in-law Christopher Andrews, nephew Dylan Andrews, and numerous other family members in Maine, Florida, and Illinois. He was predeceased by his mother Patricia I. West and son Michael West. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Dolby Blais & Segee, 35 Church St., Westbrook, ME at 10:30AM. A brief graveside service will follow at Blanchard Cemetery, 215 Winn Road, Falmouth, ME. Reception to follow at the Cumberland Congregational Church, 282 Main St., Cumberland, ME.
