WINDHAM - Jeffrey Gary Conant Sr., 65, of Windham, passed away on August 13, 2019. On July 24, 1954, he was born in Westbrook to the late Gary Conant and Janice (Davis) Conant. He was the oldest of four brothers. Jeffrey graduated from Windham High, class of 1972, and then he traveled all around the country. In 1978 when living in Miami, he met Susan Bachman. They married in April of 1987. Jeffrey worked in the Carpenters' Union in Florida. They relocated to Maine and Jeffrey built their home in Windham. He started his own construction business, Conant Brothers Construction. In 1992, Jeffrey became the father of twin boys. His hobbies were skiing, adventuring, wood working, inventing, building, and astronomy. Survivors include his wife, Susan (Bachman) Conant; mother, Janice Conant; brothers, Anthony Conant and Chris Conant; sons, James Conant and Jeffrey Conant; and granddaughter, Nova Conant. He was also predeceased by his brother, Greg Conant. Jeffrey's funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 30th, at Dolby Blais & Segee Windham Chapel, 434 River Road. Burial will immediately follow at Mayberry Cemetery on Park Road.
