Portland, Jeannette A. Craft, 95, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016, at Seaside Nursing Home. She was born in Berlin, NH, May 16, 1921, the daughter of the late Oscar Paradis and the late Lucy Larrivee Paradis. She was raised in Biddeford, ME and attended Biddeford schools. She lived in the Biddeford and Saco area for many years. Jeannette was a past resident of Larrabee Woods in Westbrook and then Portland Center for Assisted Living until she entered Seaside Nursing Home. She was a member of the South Portland Church of the Nazarene. Among her interests were Red Sox baseball, reading, daily puzzles, knitting, music, and a special love of animals. Her husband Arnold W. Craft died March 21, 1995. She is survived by two sons, David Craft and wife Caroline of Virginia Beach, VA, and Richard Craft and wife Anne of Scarborough; two sisters, Claire Direnzo of Westbrook and Jackie Guerette Patrick of Scarborough; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks go out to the caring staffs of Seaside Nursing and Compassus Hospice. Visiting hours will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Blais & Funeral Home, 35 Church St, Westbrook, where a funeral service will be held at 10 AM Friday. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Westbrook.
