Portland, Jeanne Claire Cambridge, 80, of Portland passed away May 8, 2017 at her home. She was loved and cherished by all her family. Through her battle with cancer she taught us that laughter is the best medicine and to be strong for one another. She was a tiny woman with a huge heart. She was the daughter of Charles and Jeanette Boivin of St. Johnsbury, VT. She attended St. Johnsbury Academy in Vermont, graduating in 1955. She was married to the love of her life, whom she met when she came to Portland for a couple of weeks, and stayed for a lifetime. She is survived by her husband Leon Cambridge; her children Allison Pelletier and husband Bruce of Bingham, Robert Cambridge of Florida, Jay Cambridge and wife Stacy of Windham, and Karen Cambridge of Auburn; as well as 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; her brothers Charles Boivin and wife Jeannine of South Portland, and Victor Boivin and wife Cecile of St. Johnsbury, VT.
