Jeanene Farmer Verrill, 87 of Windham, Maine, left this earth for heaven on May 28, 2024. Jeanene married George Verrill July 3, 1958, and dedicated her life to their children, Terri, Mark, Susan, Gary, David, and Cory. She leaves behind her 6 children and spouses; 11 grandchildren and spouses, Michelle, Daniel, Thomas, David, Courtney, Brandi, Briana, Austin, Olivia, Lily, and Addison; and 10 great-grandchildren Gavin, Avery, Cameron, Travis, Colby, Georgia, Grant, Emery, Everly, and Wesley. There are nieces and nephews far and wide, too many to list. She leaves behind 7 sisters and one brother, Dorothy, Eunice, Sylvia, Eleanor, Sandra, Ernestine, Lovina, and Phillip. She was pre-deceased by one brother Quintin Farmer. Her hobbies included knitting, sewing, crocheting, baking, yard-sale shopping and spending time with the littles. She was a kind and generous woman who was always thinking of others. We have wonderful memories over the years of times gathered in her tiny home, always stepping over kids playing on the floor. Halloween was a favorite as she made wassail and baked treats for all as three generations strolled the Blocks of Brookhaven. She took us kids to Ditch Brook almost every day every summer while we were growing up. Mom–Gram-GiGi, will forever be in our hearts. She is surely already knitting and baking for all the other angels in heaven. We would also like to thank the staff at Coastal Manor for taking such great care of our mother. Visiting hours will be at Dolby Blais & Segee, 434 River Road, South Windham, Maine, beginning at 1 pm on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Service also at Dolby Blais & Segee begins at 2 pm. Graveside service for immediate family only will follow at Mayberry Cemetery in Windham. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland as several grands and greats have been there and the staff is amazing.
