Windham – Jean Ellen Rogers, 83, died on October 15, 2017 at Ledgewood Manor in Windham. She was born in Lewiston, on January 26, 1934, the daughter of Fred LaChance and Marguerite Hartford. Jean grew up in White Rock and was a 1951 graduate of Gorham High School. She worked as an executive secretary for the President of Maine Medical Center for many years before her retirement in the late 90's. In 1971, she married Donald Rogers, the couple were together for 31 years before Donald passed away in 2002. Jean is survived by her three sons, Steven Fearon of Windham, Kenneth Fearon of Windham, and James Fearon of Old Town; five grandchildren, Lori Clark, Sarah Fearon, Brandon Fearon, Brittany Fearon, and Gary Fearon; and six great grandchildren; half-sister Linda Lawler of Harpswell; and her best friend, Ruth Pike of AZ. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her step-father, Arthur Walker; daughter, Sherri Peluso; and granddaughter, Jennifer Darling. Burial will be private at White Rock Cemetery, Gorham. Arrangements by the Dolby Funeral Chapel, Windham.
