LIMERICK - Jason Louis Tucker, passed away peacefully at the age of 72, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 surrounded by his closest loved ones. He was born December 27, 1949 in Portland, Maine to Norman and Marjorie (St. Pierre) Tucker. Jason grew up in Gorham and graduated high school in 1969, he then went on to serve in the US Navy before spending nearly 4 decades with the Trane Company. He was an avid fisherman and dedicated to woodworking and restoration of his 18th century home in Hollis, Maine, that he shared with his dear wife, Anne Tucker. He and Anne were high school sweethearts and were able to celebrate 45 years of marriage together. Following his beloved wife's death, he moved to Limerick, Maine and dove deeper into his love for woodworking on classic boats and taking care of his pets, Chloe and Mr. Whiskers. He spent many days sharing good times with his dear neighbors and soon found a most wonderful friend to spend time with and share great stories with, Norma Quint. She became his significant other and will remain a very dear friend to the family. He was a dedicated man, an encouraging grandfather and a good friend to all. He spent many days with his grandchildren and loved them dearly. He is survived by his two children, daughter, Alisa Sanborn of South Berwick and her husband, David; son, Joshua Tucker of Tolland, Connecticut and his wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Jack and Katie Sanborn, Owen and Hailey Tucker and Ivan and Mila Hramiak. He was predeceased by his sister, Lynda Langella of Standish Maine. He was loved by many other family members of whom he cared for dearly. A graveside service will be held at the North Gorham Cemetery 11 a.m., Thursday, October 13, 2022. Following the service, a celebration of Jason's life will be at the Portland Elks, 1945 Congress St, Portland, ME.
