BUXTON—Jason John Bressette, 38, died unexpectedly in a car accident on August 28, 2018. He was born in Springfield, MA on August 11, 1980, the son of Jack Bressette and Deborah (Drobiak). Jason, known to many as Jay, grew up in Massachusetts and attended Westside High in West Springfield, MA and graduated from Wells High School in Maine. Jay spent 17 years working as a plastic fabricator at Triple M Plastics in West Kennebunk. He recently had started working at Nichols in Portland as an automotive fabricator. Jay was a lovable guy with a soft heart. He was a jack of all trades who was extremely handy around the house. Jay married the love of his life, Katherine Quincannon on June 13, 2015 at their home in Buxton. Jay enjoyed swimming in the pool, watching Nascar, and the company of his great nephew "Nug". He was famous for his delicious ribs, his great sense of humor and being a loving family man. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Quincannon; children, Tyler, Zachary, Jack and Trevor; mother, Deborah Bressette and step father Dean Loughman; father Jack Bressette and step mother Marline Bressette; paternal grandmother, Carol Bressette; maternal grandparents Richard and Barbara Drobiak; sisters, Trish Canfield and husband Alan, Jen Pelkey and her fiancé Chad Bliss, Mandie Reynolds and husband Justin; brother John Bressette and his wife Ashley; a special aunt and uncle, Deb and Keith DeSanctis; many nieces and nephews; and his mother and father in law, Helen and Stephen Quincannon. Jay was recently pre-deceased by his brother, Donald "Spike" Pelkey, and grandfather, Jack "Pepe" Bressette. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11am at the Windham Chapel of Dolby Blais & Segee, 434 River Rd., Windham, Maine, where a period of visitation will be held from 10am until the time of service.
