Portland- M. Jane Labrecque Bryan, 95, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at St. Joseph's Rehabilitation & Residence. She was born on November 29, 1917 in Westbrook, the daughter of Elie and Albina Harnois Labrecque. Jane lived the majority of her life in Westbrook. After raising her family, she worked for many years in the office of the S.D. Warren Paper Company. She was a past member of St. Mary's Church in Westbrook. Jane enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved music, dancing, and was an avid knitter. Most of her hand crafted items were donated to various worthy causes- one being, the Mercy Hospital Newborn Nursery. She is survived by four sons; James and his wife Therese of Bradenton FL, David of Standish, Thomas of Portland, and Timothy and his wife Sheila of Palm City, FL, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great, grandchildren. Other survivors include a brother, Emile of Westbrook and a sister, Antoinette Knott of Westbrook, and a close family friend, Cheryl Grover. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM Friday, August 9, 2013 at St. Pius X Church, 492 Ocean Ave. in Portland. Arrangements are made by Blais & Hay Funeral Home, Westbrook.
