James Wesley Woodward 50 years old of Westbrook, ME passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. He was born on April 21, 1964 in Westfield, MA, to James Wallace and Patricia Woodward.   James graduated from Westbrook High School in 1982.   James cherished spending time with both of his daughters Amanda 30 and Savannah 4, and his longtime companion Jennifer Dunlap.   He enjoyed playing drums in the Westbrook Marching Band and after high school played in various bands throughout the years.  He spent a few years enjoying the outdoors hiking and skiing in New Hampshire before moving back to Westbrook, ME. He was predeceased by his father James Wallace Woodward. He is survived by his longtime companion Jennifer Dunlap, two daughters, Savannah Margaret Dunlap Woodward,  Amanda Woodward Miskovic and husband Matej Miskovic,  Step Grandaughter Gianna Miskovic, his mother Patricia Woodward, sisters, Susan Woodward Brewer and husband Brian Sr, Linda Woodward Paine, many nieces and nephews, family  & friends.   Visiting hours will be held Friday, November 7, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM followed by a service at 8 PM at Blais & Hay Funeral Home.  Private interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Westbrook.  Online condolences can be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com  In lieu of flowers funds have been established in the name of Savannah Margaret Dunlap Woodward,c/o Bank of America, 849 Main Street, Westbrook, ME 04092.
