James W. Hawxwell, 78, of North Lauderdale, FL passed away on January 24, 2026. Born in Portland, ME to William and Clara Hawxwell on February 14, 1947.

James, affectionately known as "Big Daddy," was a New England Patriots fan and he loved hunting. James especially loved trips to the family camp in Maine. He proudly served in the US Navy.

James is survived by his wife, Stephanie; daughters, Heidi and Holly; sons, Jim and Jeffrey; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
