James "Jimmy" Glantz James Alfred Glantz, 82, passed away peacefully at his home in Windham, Maine on July 22, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born December 27, 1942, in Gray, Maine, to the late Andrew and Georgie (Duggan) Glantz. James graduated from Windham High School, Class of 1961. James married Dian E. Smith on December 4, 1965, and would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year. He worked as a mechanic for his brother, Ronnie, at Rons Auto Sales for over 50 years. Anyone who knew James will tell you what an amazing man, husband, father, papa and friend he was. He spent his life taking care of others, fixing anything that was broken, watching and coaching his daughter's sports teams, and finding a "good deal". Jimmy shared his love of racing at Beech Ridge, alongside his father, brother, and best friend Bobby Bushley. He took many hunting, fishing, and camping trips with his son-in-laws and close friends. He especially enjoyed spending time in Rangeley and Greenville, going on long rides looking for wildlife. Jimmy also enjoyed taking rides all around the Sebago Lake area only after stopping at Dunkin for coffee and donuts. If you saw him with a scratch ticket, watching a New England sports game, or sleeping anywhere and everywhere you knew he was happy. Above all, anyone who knew him knew how much he loved his family and friends. James is survived by his wife Dian E.
